SVCA Pickleball
The SVCA is renovating the current basketball court and creating 4 pickle ball courts for the membership in the back of the SVCA Hall at 720 Alligator Drive. This page contains planning information for the community.
The SVCA Board of Directors approved a plan on January 13th to start repairing a part of the current basketball court and restriping for 1 pickleball court. Additionally, a fundraising committee was established to raise $20,000 to complete the repairs and restripe 4 courts. The long range plan includes a new brick pathway from the parking lot to the courts, repairing the lights and a new landscape design for the current shuffleboard courts and picnic area.
Thank you to everyone that participated in the fundraising events! We are excited to announce we have reached the funding for the first milestone and a contract was signed with a contractor to renovate the courts. Please contribute to get us over the second Milestone - restriping the Shuffleboard/cornhole courts!
Please reach out to friends and family to see if they want to donate.
If you want to help with the project, help with fundraising, or make a cash or check donation please contact the SVCA office ([email protected] ) or Paul Gilmartin ([email protected])
